Background

Ana Maria Yepes received her B.S. degree (highest honors) in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2008. Currently, she is pursuing her Master of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the same institution.

Current Research

  • Multilayer antenna array design for environmental sensing applications.

Experience

  • 2009: Summer internship at Motorola's Companion Products division, Lawrenceville, GA (Bluetooth headsets TRP and TIS measurement in RF anechoic chamber, EMI testing with automated scanner, antenna design and simulation).
  • 2005-2008: Four semesters of co-op at Jacket Micro Devices Inc., Atlanta, GA (802.11 WLAN front-end modules development phase testing and debugging, device characterization and statistical analysis, computer automated design of components and filters).
